The Role Of The Chakras

I have come accross this article for people to read.

The chakras, are the extraphysical centres, through which energies from different fields are distributed and synchronised to the body. They are active on all awareness levels, abut have different roles to play at each level.

There are seven chakras in the body, these are named for their shape, as they resemble a wheel, with a central hub and revolving structures.
The chakras are generally associated with particular organs within the body. However, this should not be strictly adhered to as the chakras are energy vortices that are fluid within the body, they are only present when the body is alive and leave when it dies. It is often useful to refer to them as organ related but always use and interpret these terms loosely.

The seven chakras also help identify the primary emphasis of an individual, or the persons self focus. If for example a person is sensitive and identifies with their feelings, the solar plexus and heart chakra will be more active and prominent. If the crown centre id particularly bright, it may mean the person has a well developed spiritual awareness. The crown chakra is also connected to the waking body as this flow of energy is known to diminish when a person is sleeping, but becomes active again when they wake.

The major functions of the chakras are to absorb and distribute energy to the physical body and to maintain the flow of energy throughout the body, by their interconnectedness. The physical body if the ultimate joining of forces and energies, and it is through the chakras that this force and energy is maintained.

Studies of the chakras have shown that if severe changes in colour, movement, brightness, among other observations are seen, a serious condition may be manifesting itself within the person. This may result in the development of a disease, most often found in the endocrine glands.

If you have been told that your chakras are changing in a major way then you should seek medical assistance and have a full check up. It is worth mentioning that more and more physicians are promoting visualisation in their treatment of major diseases such as cancer. This is due to the fact that a lot of the problems associated with the chakras can be assigned to emotional problems, and visualisation of these problems have been shown to help, in both calming the chakras and combating the disease.
